Data Deletion Instructions

You can delete your GrowhtOS account and the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page also documents the automated callback we expose for Meta’s Data Deletion requirement.

1. Delete your account from inside GrowhtOS

1. Sign in at growhtos.com/login.
2. Open Settings → Profile.
3. Scroll to Danger zone and click Delete account.
4. Confirm by typing your email. We will:
   • Disconnect every linked social account and revoke our stored OAuth tokens.
   • Cancel any active subscription.
   • Delete your posts, drafts, AI generation history, analytics, and uploaded media within 30 days.
   • Retain only what we are legally required to keep (billing records for tax purposes).

2. Disconnect a single platform without deleting your account

1. Open Settings → Connected Accounts.
2. Click Disconnect on the account you wish to remove.
3. Tokens are deleted immediately; cached analytics for that account are deleted within 30 days.

3. Email request

If you cannot access your account, email privacy@growhtos.com from the address on file. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.

4. Automated deletion (Meta requirement)

When you remove the GrowhtOS app from your Facebook or Instagram account’s integrations list, Meta sends a signed deletion request to our endpoint at https://growhtos.com/api/meta/data-deletion. On receipt we:

• Verify the request signature using our app secret.
• Delete every SocialAccount linked to that Meta user ID, along with cached posts, comments, analytics snapshots, and OAuth tokens.
• Return a confirmation URL and tracking code that you can use to confirm deletion.
